AUTHOR GUIDELINES
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Manuscripts must be original, have not been published previously in any scientific journal, are not being submitted for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted to any other media during the review process unless the authors have officially withdrawn the manuscripts from the Journal of JMIS. The statement must be declared in a Statement of Originality and Copyright Release Form (Form A). In addition, each submitted manuscript must be accompanied by a plagiarism similarity report generated using Turnitin, with a maximum similarity index of less than 20% as part of the journal’s publication requirements. The Journal of JMIS uses Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to prevent any suspected plagiarism in submitted manuscripts.
- Manuscripts submitted are research topics that have no conflict with bioethical research.
- The journal is published 2 (twice) times a year.
MANUSCRIPT FILE
- Manuscripts are written in English and used standard scientific usage. Authors whose first language is not English should consult the manuscript with an English editing service before submitting it to the Journal of Coaching and Sports Science.
- Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word format, except for Graphs using Microsoft Excel program and Figures using JPEG or PDF format.
- Manuscripts should be typed using the Garamond font, 11-point size, with 1.15 line spacing.
- The manuscript should be prepared using the official JMIS manuscript template. Original Research manuscripts must not exceed 10 pages, excluding the References section. Literature Reviews, Systematic Reviews, Scoping Reviews, Narrative Reviews, and other review-based manuscripts must not exceed 12 pages, excluding the References section. The manuscript should be written in a single-column format (except for the abstract, tables, or figures that cannot be reduced due to readability), with justified alignment, using Garamond font, 11-point size, and 1.15 line spacing. The manuscript should be organized into the following main sections: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments (optional), and References. Manuscripts exceeding the maximum page limit will be subject to additional publication charges in accordance with the journal's Article Processing Charge (APC) policy
- The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
- Authors€™ names are written below the title, followed by authors€™ affiliation and e-mail addresses.
- The abstract is written in English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract is written narratively comprising aims/objectives, methods, and findings of the research/article.
- Manuscript can use the STROBE method for observational studies, SRQR for qualitative studies, PRISMA for reviews, CARE for case reports, CONSORT for clinical trials (recommendations).
- Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative of the article.
- Style APA 7th edition.
- The references of the article are in the form of journals and non-journals which are published in the last six years.
- The manuscript must be written following the Journal of Coaching and Sports Science template.
- The manuscript must be in *.doc and sent to the journal system via online submission by creating an account in this Open Journal System (OJS) [click REGISTER if you have not had any account yet, or click LOG IN if you have already had an account].
- All Author(s)' names and identity(es) must be completely embedded in the form filled in by the corresponding author: email; affiliation; and each author's short biography (in the column of 'Bio Statement'). [if the manuscript is written by two or more authors, please click 'Add Author' in the 3rd step of 'ENTER METADATA' in the submission process and then enter each author's data].
- All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging into the journal.
