Abstract

To optimize the utilization of technology in the educational process, it is imperative to improve the digital competencies of teachers and educational personnel. The primary objective of this community service initiative is to improve teachers’ knowledge and skills  applaying information technology, with a particular focus on the development of interactive learning media. The partners involved in this program are teachers at SD Negeri 10 Kepahiang, who face challenges related to limited proficiency in utilizing technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning. The training was implemented through a combination of lectures and demonstrations, supplemented by interactive question-and-answer sessions. The lectures provided comprehensive guidance on the use of the Canva platform as an effective tool for creating digital learning media, while the Question and Answer sessions offered participants the opportunity to discuss and resolve encountered challenges. The outcomes of this initiative demonstrate a significant enhancement in the participants’ capabilities to independently develop technology-based instructional materials.
