Article Processing Charges (APC)

JKB applies the following author charges, stated transparently before submission:

The APC covers copyediting, layout, DOI registration, open-access hosting, and long-term preservation. Payment is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted through peer review; payment does not influence editorial decisions or guarantee acceptance.

Waiver policy: Authors from low-income countries, as classified by the World Bank, and authors who demonstrate financial hardship may apply for a full or partial waiver by email to the Editor-in-Chief at submission.
