Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

JKB is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and follows the Core Practices and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The duties of each party are as follows:

  • Authors submit original work, report data accurately, cite sources appropriately, disclose funding and conflicts of interest, and obtain ethical clearance for research involving human participants or animals.
  • Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on scholarly merit, keep submissions confidential, and manage conflicts of interest and allegations of misconduct.
  • Reviewers provide objective, timely, and confidential assessments, declare conflicts of interest, and do not use manuscripts or AI tools in conducting reviews.
  • Publisher supports editorial independence and ensures the journal's long-term accessibility.

Research involving human subjects must state the ethical clearance number and the issuing ethics committee in the Methods section.
